What is the Go Negosyo Law?

To be established under the supervision of DTI and the MSMED Council, Negosyo Centers are convergence points for the DTI, LGUs, and the private sector to (1) promote ease of doing business, and (2) ensure access to services for MSMEs within its jurisdiction.  The Go Negosyo Law or RA10644 mandates the creation of a Negosyo Center in all provinces, cities, and municipalities. The MSMED Council shall approve a multi-phase plan to roll out Negosyo Centers in all of these localities.

What is the Negosyo Center?

The Negosyo Center will boost the development of micro, small and medium enterprises, creating jobs and livelihood in the community.By making business registration simpler and more efficient, more Filipinos will be encouraged to start their own small businesses to stimulate the local economy.In addition, the Negosyo Centers will provide courses and development programs, training, advice on business conceptualization and feasibility, financing, management, capability building, human resources, marketing and other support services.

WHAT CAN YOU GET FROM THE NEGOSYO CENTER?

Money

The Negosyo Center will help facilitate access to grants and other forms of financial assistance, shared service facilities and equipment, and other support for MSMEs

Market

The Negosyo Center will help MSMEs find and build local support networks and establish market linkages for MSME development through the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise Development (MSMED) Council and DTI.

Mentorship

The Negosyo Center will provide information and services in training, financing and marketing and shall co-organize with the local chambers of commerce and other business organizations a mentoring program for prospective and current entrepreneurs and investors.

Ease of Doing Business

The Negosyo Center will coordinate with the respective local government units (LGUs) and liaise with concerned government agencies to process the duly accomplished forms submitted by the MSME.
